ABOUT ...
I am Tisca Castro - singer, songwriter and vocal coach.
I only started singing at the age of 30 when I moved to Germany from my native Chile. In 2013 I completed my first course at the Complete Vocal Institute in Copenhagen, where I learned to use my voice in a targeted way using the methodology and techniques of the Complete Vocal Technique (CVT).
Back in Germany, I discovered my passion for teaching and started giving singing lessons. In 2015, I returned to the Complete Vocal Institute to deepen my knowledge, attend songwriting courses and compose my own music. Between 2017 and 2020, I finally completed my training to become an authorized Complete Vocal Technique teacher.
Over the past 12 years, I have taught over 200 singers - many of them regularly. I have led singing workshops for choirs and during the pandemic I have given online lessons to singers in countries such as Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Germany, Spain and Brazil.
I currently offer singing lessons in Berlin and online. I speak Spanish, German and English.
CLASSES AND VOCAL WORKSHOPS
Work slow to learn fast
One of the goals of the Complete Vocal Technique is to make singers take responsibility for their own development. For that, we put ourselves at the service of the singer, assisting him with efficient techniques to solve difficult tasks of a technical or musical nature. We focus on individual needs and problems, as we believe that a better mastery of vocal technique has an impact on the most important aspect of singing: EXPRESSION.

MASTER CLASSES (online and face-to-face)
Requirement to attend the master classes is to have attended the class "Introduction to the Complete Vocal Technique". During the master class, the singing itself (technical and musical aspects) is worked on in around 20 minutes in front of the audience. A pianist will be available if required.
INDIVIDUAL CLASSES (online and face-to-face)
In 30 or 60 minutes we will work with the voice, taking as a starting point a song or parts of it, or technical aspects to sing in the studio or live. The class is focused on what the singer wants to achieve. Specific tools are delivered to exercise and achieve the desired objectives.
